I am grateful everyday that I have this amazing opportunity to bring my love and passion of helping others, with their journey into wellness, and bringing my passion to the community! I feel everyone has the right to feel whole, complete just as they are. I specialize in Yoga Therapy which focuses on these areas, (Trauma Informed, Yoga Nidra, Restorative)I have been in the fitness industry for over 20 years. I have a BHS in Health and Wellness. Over the years, I have acquired many Certifications in many areas of fitness from Silver Sneakers to Les Mills Bodypump. I am also Certified with IIN (Institute of Integrative Nutrition) And, Certified in Ayurvedic Nutrition. My studio offers a safe place to explore and grow in your practice.
Off the matt, I enjoy all outside adventures with my family. (biking, hiking, swimming, eating)

I have been on the fitness scene for 20 years, with a variety of
Group Fitness and Personal Training certifications through AAAI-ISMA and NCSF. I am very enthusiastic!! 200hr RYT trained at Frog Pond Yoga Centre in Princeton. FPYC gives classical training in Raja Yoga, which “integrates breath, body, and mind to promote spiritual growth and bring about the awakened state with its clarity of mind and deep inner peace.” (Frogpondyoga.org) Off the matt, I enjoy being with friends and family.

Throughout the years, I noticed that yoga not only helped my tight hips and hamstrings, but I noticed a change in my stress levels as it reset my nervous system. Those benefits helped me sleep better, deepen my prayer life and be a better wife, mother, friend and co-worker.
Off the mat, you will find me living the joys and challenges of motherhood to our four amazing children, teaching Criminal Justice students, squeezing in a workout, drinking too much coffee and creating baking recipes for my food blog community.

I am looking forward to being part of the Simply Grounded YOGA community! I completed by 200 your teacher training certification in 2005 through Frog Pond Yoga in Princeton MA. My primary teaching style is hatha yoga integrating movement and breath. I have taught yoga at the Ashburnham Library, Mount Wachusett Community College, Beals Memorial Library. I also have experience teaching family yoga classes and kids yoga classes (MWCC, after school programs, summer programs). I have worked in the Winchendon Public School system for over 25 years as an Occupational Therapist, integrating yoga into that setting as well. NAMASTE~the teacher and light within me honors the teacher and light within you!
